A beer festival showcasing boozy beers and their sessionable counterparts! 

Join us at Berg’n on Sunday, October 13 from 1-5pm, to taste more than 30 beers from some of the best homebrewers in NYC! We'll be serving curated beer style pairings which are similar in flavor profile, but differ in alcohol content. The event will highlight one of brewing’s most important measurements, gravity, and how manipulating a beer’s gravity can deeply impact a beer. You’ll be able to sample 16 beers under 5% ABV, and compare them to the 16 beers that are over 8% ABV.

Your ticket includes unlimited homebrew tastings and a souvenir glass. We'll also have a raffle of goodies from NYC breweries and bars. Enter to win beer and swag from local favorites!

A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to Riverkeeper, a not-for-profit environmental organization whose mission is to protect the environmental, recreational and commercial integrity of the Hudson River and its tributaries, and safeguard the drinking water of 9 million New Yorkers.

More about the Brewminaries

The Brewminaries are a homebrew club in Brooklyn focused on helping every member make better beer through experiments, brewing, and discussion. We were founded in March 2015 by a handful of brewers from the Bitter and Esters beer swap, and over the past three years have rapidly grown into the largest homebrew club in New York City. Our membership includes a wide range of experience, from novices to professional brewers at local breweries. We pride ourselves on being a positive and inclusive club that provides educational opportunities for our members. We are passionate about supporting the wider New York City brewing community so that we can all make better beer together.

Funds gained through annual events like GRAVITY expand our ability to give back to our members and pay for organized brewing and educational events that improve the quality of our community’s homebrew and bring the community together.
